Super In Plane Switching (S-IPS), by LG.Philips LCD
Beyond the specs: quality you can see
Super-IPS LCD technology delivers ultra-wide viewing angles with vivid, saturated colors and great color fidelity.
While other LCD technologies claim wide viewing angle specifications, no other technology delivers such consistent colors and contrast, with virtually no color shift, at any viewing angle. This is "quality beyond the specs," because industry viewing angle specs do not account for falloff of image quality from off-center angles. Displays can have similar viewing angle specs (by standard industry definitions), with radical differences in color shift and contrast shift at oblique angles.
S-IPS LCD technology is an ideal choice for multi-screen arrays, where oblique viewing angles are common for secondary screens.
Digital Tigers Zenview 20T, Zenview 20TS and Zenview Ultra HD series displays use Super-IPS technology by LG.Philips LCD.
Zenview displays: world's best LCDs by LG.Philips LCD and Samsung
LG.Philips LCD (LPL) is the world's largest maker of LCD modules, producing more than 20 percent of global supply. Based in Korea, LPL makes LCDs used by such monitor brands as Dell, HP, Apple, LG, Philips, NEC, Sony, Hitachi, Fujitsu, Toshiba, Iiyama and Lenovo. LPL's market share is slightly larger than the #2 LCD maker, Samsung.
S-IPS LCDs are the top-of-the-line LCD panels offered by LPL and represent the state of the art among all LCDs in the industry.
LPL is jointly owned by LG Electronics and Philips. Samsung and LPL compete at the very high end of the LCD manufacturing, with quality exceeding other manufacturers. While Samsung sells monitors mostly under its own brand, all of LPL's production is rebranded by other companies.
Digital Tigers is proud to build Zenview displays with industry-best LCD technology, produced by Samsung and LPL.
